Один человек погиб, еще десятки ранены в результате обрушения крыши в концертном зале «Апполон» во время выступления группы Morbid Angel в штате Иллионойс. Об этом сообщает телеканал CBS.
По информации телеканала, внутри здания в момент обрушения находилось 260 человек, при этом концертный зал рассчитан на 1,5 тыс. человек.
Предположительно, причиной обрушения крыши стал сильный ветер, порывы которого достигали 144 км/час.
По словам главы пожарной службы города Шона Скадла, пять человек были экстренно госпитализированы с тяжелыми травмами, еще 18 — с травмами средней тяжести и пять — с незначительными повреждениями.
