Вечером в воскресенье, 3 мая, на мосту около городка Менаша в штате Висконсин вооруженный мужчина застрелил трех человек и ранил еще одного, после чего, судя по всему, застрелился, сообщает сайт postcrescent.com.
Единственный выживший в результате этого нападения раненый доставлен в больницу в критическом состоянии.
По словам полицейских, они оружие не применяли. Проводится расследование обстоятельств и причин трагического инцидента.
Судя по имеющимся данным, преступник начал стрелять на мосту, когда там находились десятки людей. Некоторым из них потребовалась помощь медиков для выведения из состояния нервного шока.
Имя преступника и имена его жертв пока не публикуются.
В Манаше проживают около 17,5 тысяч человек. Местные жители говорят, что не помнят подобных нападений за всю историю города.
