Давид Зеликовский и Джон Дабу, владельцы арт-галереи «Chair and the Maiden» в манхэттенском районе Гринвич-Вилладж, сообщили, что лендлород Джон Познер отказал им в продлении аренды и галерея переезжает.
Причиной отказа послужило то, что в феврале английский художник Брайан Рид выставил в витрине галереи свое произведение в стиле «хэппенинг».
Под сплетением акульих зубов и глиняных трубок стояла голая 25-летняя Меган Хэнфорд, к которой присоединялся голый мужчина.
Продавалось это произведение искусства за 30 тыс. долларов.
По словам 41-летнего лендлорда, в его доме кроме галереи находится детская парикмахерская и местный центр помощи детям, и он имел кучу неприятностей в связи с голыми людьми в окне первого этажа.
