В Монтане скончался самый старый в мире клоун Флойд Крикмор, сообщает Associated Press. Артист, известный под сценическим прозвищем Creeky, ушел из жизни в возрасте 98 лет.
Крикмор умер в своем доме в городе Биллингс. Причиной смерти стала сердечная недостаточность. О кончине артиста прессу проинформировал его сын.
Флойд Крикмор родился 14 июля 1916 года в штате Монтана. Большую часть своей жизни он работал на ранчо, однако в 1981 году занялся цирковой деятельностью, вступив в труппу.
В 1993 году Creeky был назван клоуном года по версии Международной ассоциации клоунов (International Shrine Clown Association, ISCA). В феврале 2012 года Крикмор попал в Книгу рекордов Гиннесса как старейший работающий клоун.
